// Lead Booker Agreement
Upon making a booking, the first named person on the booking ("the Lead Booker") agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that:
- a.He/she has read these terms and conditions and has the authority to and does agree to be bound by them.
- b.He/she consents to our use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- c.He/she is over 16 years of age and resident in the United Kingdom and when placing an order for services with age restrictions declares that he/she and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services.
- d.All information submitted is true and accurate.
01 General
- 1.1Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your statutory rights.
- 1.2Our escape rooms are designed for groups of 2–8 people per room.
- 1.3The trademarks and logos displayed on the website are the property of the company. You are not permitted to use these without written consent of the company and you accept that any such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant proprietor's rights.
- 1.4These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by British law and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the British courts.
- 1.5The website may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. The operation of those websites is out of the company's control and you may use them at your own risk. The company accepts no liability for any damage arising out of any use of those websites.
- 1.6The company collects and stores your personal details without disclosing them to any third party and is dedicated to ensuring that the privacy of your personal information is protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and UK GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
- 1.7No recordings can be taken inside the room. That includes (without limitation) mobile phones, recording devices (video and/or audio) and cameras. The use of such a device in the room is not permitted at any time.
- 1.8The company expects visitors not to disclose any details of the escape rooms directly or indirectly to the public.
- 1.9The company may contact you from time to time with offers and promotions via email or phone. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- 1.10The company is entitled to charge guests for any damage which is intentional and/or caused by misuse of items. The Lead Booker will be responsible for their group and takes full responsibility for said damages and will be charged accordingly.
- 1.11While you are on our premises, you must ensure to conform to our codes and regulations, adopt proper standards of behaviour, and cooperate with our employees.
- 1.12The company will not tolerate any kind of bullying, harassment or aggressive behaviour towards its employees. Any such behaviour may result in refusal of entry, game termination or removal from our site. Under such a scenario, no compensation, refund (in full or part) or re-booking of the game will be made by Exitus: Elements.
- 1.13The company will not tolerate any abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour towards its staff. Any individual engaging in such behaviour may be refused entry, have their game terminated, or be removed from the premises. No compensation, refund (full or partial), or rebooking will be provided in such circumstances.
02 Bookings at Exitus: Elements
If you are booking on behalf of a group, please ensure that you have the consent of all members of the party before making a booking and that all members of your party have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Lead Booker must be 16 years of age or over at the time of booking and is responsible for payment of the total booking price, including any subsequent cancellation or amendment charges.
- 2.1Only person(s) who are at least 16 years of age are permitted to book an escape room.
- 2.2Any person(s) under the age of 13 taking part in the event must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the child's welfare, behaviour, and compliance with all rules and safety instructions.
- 2.3In the event of any person(s) under the age of 16 taking part in the escape rooms, the Lead Booker confirms that they shall accept responsibility for the welfare of all those members of their group who are aged under 16.
- 2.4This is a live event game, and once the booking is confirmed, we can only accept cancellations or give refunds with a notice period of 48 hours. However, if given more than 1 hour's notice the company may reschedule the event but is not obligated to. Any rescheduling must be confirmed by email or in writing from the company and the Lead Booker.
- 2.5Any purchase on the website is only valid when processed by the company. You shall receive a confirmation once your booking is processed.
- 2.6If you wish to transfer your booking(s) into someone else's name, you must contact the company by email or telephone at least two hours prior to the start of your booking. Your request may not be honoured and can be denied.
- 2.7Bookings may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes or at a premium. If a booking is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the booking or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused admission.
- 2.8You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Online Booking Form.
- 2.9You are responsible for your own timekeeping. If you do not arrive on time we reserve the right to cancel your booking. You must arrive at the event's stated start time. A booking becomes a no-show and entry will be declined if the team is 30 minutes late or more. In such a situation the money is not refundable and the booking is not changeable.
03 Special Requests
Any special requests must be communicated to us at the time of booking. Although we will endeavour to meet any special requests, we regret we cannot promise that any requests will be complied with unless we have specifically confirmed this in writing. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.
04 Access, Disabilities & Medical
- 4.1Exitus: Elements is located within upper floor offices. Access is via a standard staircase and is unsuitable for anyone who is unable to use stairs.
- 4.2If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect the booking arrangements, you must inform us in writing before booking so we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen booking. We may require you to produce a doctor's certificate certifying that you are fit to participate. Acting reasonably, if we are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, we will not confirm your booking, or if you did not give us full details at the time of booking, we will cancel it and impose applicable cancellation charges when we become aware of these details.
05 Price & Payment
- 5.1The price of the escape rooms is stated on the website under the booking section.
- 5.2The price is set according to the number of people within the same booking (maximum 8 persons per room).
- 5.3Bookings can be made online or by telephone.
- 5.4Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- 5.5In the event that fewer people attend than were booked for, we are unable to refund their places if it is less than 24 hours before the booking time.
- 5.6If more people attend than were booked for (up to 8 persons per room), the price difference can be settled upon arrival.

07 Safety
- 7.1Each attendee will be instructed before their event by an employee of the company. After being briefed on the rules of the game, each guest will participate at their own risk. The company is not liable for any damages caused by not following the rules described before the event and signalled in the escape room.
- 7.2Fire exits are clearly marked.
- 7.3People who are intoxicated with alcohol or drugs will not be admitted and their game will be stated as a no-show. We consider anyone who is unable to hold a coherent conversation as intoxicated.
- 7.4To be admitted you must confirm the full name of the Lead Booker and may be asked to confirm the phone number and email address the booking confirmation was sent to.
- 7.5By booking our escape rooms, you (the Lead Booker) and all members of your group agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Exitus: Elements and its employees shall not be liable for any death, personal injury, loss or damage caused while in the venue, location or places related to Exitus: Elements.
08 Photos
- 8.1Photos of each team will be taken at the end of the game if desired.
- 8.2Photos of teams will be stored on our server.
- 8.3Photos may be uploaded to social media sites without names at the group's discretion.
09 Website Use & Security
- 9.1The website www.exituselements.co.uk is owned and operated by Exitus: Elements. The company holds the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions and any of the contents of this website from time to time at its sole discretion without prior notice.
- 9.2These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website by any visitor and should be read carefully before any use.
- 9.3The company does its best to supply you with the most up-to-date and accurate information on the website.
- 9.4The website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website without written consent of the company.
- 9.5You are not permitted to link to, or use all or any part of the website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.
